“Be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath” (James 1:19).

A day not to be repeated.

Had to report in for counselling today from 1 to 4 pm. I swear they put had it in for me by putting me in last for this Sat shift. Just as well I missed the Open Day shift. As it turns out, there was a promotional general knowledge quiz being conducted at the main block for Taman Seafield, Subang school, and this girl, probably a prefect came and enquired regarding the course, fees and left with brochures. Other than that, zilch.

However, the highlight of the day: meeting Lyn of ADP and Radin of Matriculation who were in the same boat. Lyn is a bubbly life wire, exuding positivity and totally someone you would want to listen to and sign up with. Radin is ever the gentlemen, helping me to connect the wifi and just sharing tips here and there. Plus, I met the lady from the carpark and she didn't want to accept my $$ for the parking!! Sigh, there ARE nice people around!

After work, drove straight to IU for refreshment and generall just chilling. Stopped at Thai Noodle House to a snck. Here's some random pics:

Nice: Hospitality with a Heart.

Nice little starter: Thai fish cake, fried popiah, prawn popiah, veg basket and salad.

Not so nice: the price: a whopping RM27.60 for starter and fresh coconut!

Wifi at the restaurent sucked big time so hightailed it to Starbucks where we are now!

Okay, so now back to the morning events. From RBC: We all have stories to tell about circumstances that have shown us our need to listen before we speak. We’re naturally tempted to come to quick judgments and react angrily. The book of James gives us these three practical exhortations to deal with life’s stressful situations:“Be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath” (James 1:19).In life’s stresses, let’s be “doers of the Word” (v.22), and take the time to listen and show restraint with our words and anger today

Basically, YTL Hotel school of management was having an Open Day. C had decided she would prefer to stay put in PJ and fixed her mind on KDU hence the reluctance. After immense cajoling, finally agreed but circumstances changed and all 3 ended up following. Perhaps God is speaking to me to put things in His hands and just let Him handle everything. Forgive me, Lord, sometimes, we are so one tracked that we leave no room for You. Help me to put my trust in You to resolve the situation to Your Divine Will.

So here we are, one blogging, one completing homework, and the other updating her CV, and one more letting off steam at the arcade! What a combination! Missing Hash right now!!

Here we are:
