Permodalan Negeri Selangor Bhd (PNSB) spent about RM1.7mil for former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Khir Toyo, wife, children, their maid and the company’s official to tour France, Morocco and United States.
PNSB CEO Datin Khairiyah Abu Hassan, who testified before the Selangor State Assemblys Selcat Committee on Competency, Accountability and Transparency Wednesday, said the trips included two study tours to Disneyland in Paris and Orlando.
Close to RM1mil, including expenses for Dr Khir, his wife Datin Seri Zaharah Kechik, their three children, their maid and a groundlaying, was paid for the tour to Morocco and France.
The inquiry also heard that PNSB paid some RM750,000 for the trip to United States, which comprised RM110,000 in suites for Dr Khir and entrance tickets to Disneyland.
